Maintenance Planner

About the role

JT International is looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join its Maintenance team in Casablanca. The role focuses on improving equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and technical capability across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate complex planned maintenance activities, defining scope, methods, risks, required skills, spare parts, tools, and documentation.
• Develop and refine preventive and predictive maintenance strategies using equipment history, condition‑monitoring data, and breakdown analysis.
• Create and maintain technical standards for inspection, lubrication, adjustment, troubleshooting, repair and component replacement.
• Provide technical support for recurring equipment failures, applying structured troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Coach equipment owners on autonomous maintenance, inspections and basic defect identification.
• Maintain accurate equipment records, bills of materials, task lists and maintenance plans in the CMMS.

Required profile

• Technical diploma, higher qualification or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• Relevant experience in maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, including preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
• Proven ability to analyse recurring failures and implement sustainable counter‑measures.
• Experience developing technical standards, procedures or maintenance instructions.
• Familiarity with SAP PM, MMIS, CMMS or similar maintenance‑management systems.
