Maintenance Specialist

About the role

COFICAB is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance policies, ensure equipment availability, and support the maintenance team in diagnosing critical failures. The role focuses on maximizing performance while staying within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance policies, checklists, and technical documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date equipment records, operating modes, technical specifications, and preventive checklists.
• Prioritize work requests, schedule work orders, and allocate resources efficiently.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with standards, industrial norms, and budget constraints.
• Provide on‑site technical support for complex equipment problems and failures.
• Inspect the quality of maintenance interventions and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Prepare technical documents for maintenance execution and develop training programs for the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the automotive or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and checklists.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for diagnosing equipment failures.
• Capability to supervise teams and manage work order prioritization.
