Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

The FP&A Manager will lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for ACWA Power’s renewable energy portfolio in Morocco. This role supports strategic decision‑making, ensures financial discipline and enhances project‑level financial transparency.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts in line with MGAAP and IFRS, monitor variances and provide actionable insights.
• Monitor project budgets, expenditures and financial performance, ensuring compliance with covenants and reporting obligations.
• Prepare regular financial reports, performance dashboards and present findings to senior leadership and board committees.
• Develop and maintain financial models for project evaluation, investment analysis and scenario planning.
• Support regional leadership in strategic planning, portfolio analysis and capital allocation decisions, including due‑diligence for new projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA, CFA) preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of FP&A experience, preferably in energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of MGAAP, IFRS and project finance principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluency in English and French.
