About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Manager, Global Awards to lead strategic and operational award management across its worldwide programmes. The role ensures compliant, high‑quality use of award funds to maximise impact for children while strengthening organisational capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on award, donor compliance and sub‑award management support for a global portfolio.
• Oversee contracting, delivery and close‑out of awards, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Line‑manage Global Awards Advisors, prioritising work and monitoring performance.
• Collaborate with donors, country teams and global functions to ensure smooth award lifecycle management.
• Backstop the Senior Manager, Global Humanitarian Awards and support the Director of Award Management on risk and issue resolution.
• Lead capacity‑building initiatives to improve internal processes and efficiency.
• Respond to major humanitarian emergencies with flexible working hours as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in award management, donor compliance and sub‑award administration.
• Demonstrated line‑management experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple regions and time zones (flexibility to GMT+2).
• Willingness to work remotely with a hybrid/remote work pattern.
• Right to work in the country of the assigned office for the contract duration.
