Manager, Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

You will drive a culture of zero incidents and an optimum environmental footprint by ensuring HSE programs are well implemented, facilities are well maintained, regulations are followed, hazards are assessed, and energy and waste are reduced.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and lead the cultural transformation regarding HSE to help the plant achieve zero accidents and incidents.
• Coordinate and oversee implementation of all Health & Safety programs and processes.
• Participate in investigations to facilitate closure of identified non‑conformances.
• Provide Health and Safety expertise for all new projects and change‑management activities.
• Follow up on non‑conformances and develop systems to resolve them based on root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date incident reporting system, assist with investigations alongside the HSE Pillar team/safety committee, and drive corrective actions to eliminate root causes.
• Develop technical guidance programs to identify and remove physical hazards.

Required profile

• Experience in Environmental Health and Safety.
• Completed training in OSHA, EPA, and DNREC.
• Experience with safety and/or environmental technical standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of regulatory reports and compliance, including ISO.
• No relocation support available.
