Manager/Senior Manager, West and North Africa

About the role

IDinsight is seeking a dynamic Manager or Senior Manager to lead its West and North Africa portfolio. Based in Dakar, Senegal or Rabat, Morocco, you will partner with governments, NGOs and funders to design, implement and scale data‑driven solutions that improve lives across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements from scoping to delivery, ensuring high‑quality evidence and impact.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Mentor and supervise Associates and other early‑career staff.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines and risk management, including safety and security for the team.
• Contribute to the development of new data, AI‑for‑good tools and methodological approaches.

Required profile

• Minimum 5‑7 years of experience in data‑driven development work or consulting.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑country projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for social impact.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel within West and North Africa.
