Manual QA Tester – Software Quality Assurance

About the role

The Quality Assurance team at TransPerfect is looking for a Manual QA Tester to ensure the reliability and performance of our key software applications. You will work closely with product owners, developers and business analysts to translate requirements into clear, testable scenarios and verify that new and existing functionality meets our high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, user stories and design documents to define testing scope.
• Write detailed test scenarios, test cases and test plans covering functional, regression, end‑to‑end, usability and smoke testing.
• Execute manual test cases, record results and report defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve bugs.
• Maintain metrics on testing efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Support performance testing activities and assist with automation script execution when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with technical and business stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Manual testing techniques (functional, regression, smoke, usability).
• Automation testing script execution (desirable).
• Test case design and defect tracking.
