Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Join TE Connectivity as a Manufacturing Engineer, supporting senior engineers to implement and optimise manufacturing techniques, processes, tools and machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate new manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost and performance targets.
• Optimise existing processes to improve throughput, reduce scrap and enhance yield, identifying automation and digitalisation opportunities.
• Provide technical support to daily operations, lead root‑cause investigations using 5 Why, Ishikawa, DMAIC and PFMEA, and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product industrialisation from prototype to mass production, creating flow diagrams, work instructions and control plans.
• Define equipment and tooling requirements, commission new machines, and ensure reliability through preventive maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and internal QMS, conduct audits and support customer/third‑party audit preparation.
• Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, work instructions and training materials.
• Lead Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, SMED) and mentor operators on continuous‑improvement practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in an international industrial environment.
• Analytical thinking, strong communication and teamwork skills.
