Manufacturing Engineer – Test & Vision Systems

About the role

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Aptiv in Tangier, you will design, implement and optimise manufacturing processes for automotive production, focusing on automated testing and vision inspection systems. You will apply Lean principles to monitor equipment usage, identify improvement opportunities and ensure safety, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, validate and implement automated testing and vision inspection systems for production lines.
• Develop testing methods for mechanical, electrical or functional product validation and optimise cycle time, accuracy and reliability.
• Create preventive maintenance plans for testing and vision equipment.
• Specify, select and validate equipment and software, collaborating with suppliers for integration.
• Train production and quality teams on equipment usage and troubleshooting.
• Ensure testing systems meet customer and internal requirements and support root‑cause analysis for quality issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with testing systems, preferably with automation and machine‑vision technologies.
• Knowledge of assembly technology and Lean manufacturing processes.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and conduct root‑cause analysis.
