Marketing Specialist – Retail & Events (Morocco)

About the role

Sonae Sierra is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join its Morocco team. You will support the implementation of the marketing plan, strengthen the brand image of its retail spaces, and help drive customer loyalty and tenant satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in executing the marketing plan to boost brand visibility and attract shoppers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional partners, communication agencies, and event organizers.
• Coordinate events and promotional activities, manage subcontractors, and prepare briefings for suppliers.
• Monitor and analyse the performance of campaigns and events, measuring media impact and retailer engagement.
• Manage shared marketing budgets, identify synergies, and optimise costs across the retail portfolio.
• Negotiate sponsorship agreements to enhance the reach and profitability of marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing or Communication (preferred).
• 2‑3 years of marketing experience, ideally in shopping centres or retail.
• Strong negotiation abilities and experience managing external providers.
• Fluent English and excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Open‑minded, creative, and able to work in a multicultural environment.
