About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Vaccines will act as a scientific bridge between Pfizer and healthcare professionals, delivering evidence‑based information on Pfizer’s vaccine portfolio. The role focuses on educating customers, sharing real‑world data, and supporting research initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Understand Pfizer Medical Affairs priorities and execute aligned field medical tactics.
• Provide education on the clinical impact of Pfizer vaccines through presentations, real‑world data analyses, and scientific collaborations.
• Deliver objective, scientifically sound medical information to healthcare professionals.
• Identify and engage assigned customers, capture insights, and translate them into collaboration opportunities.
• Lead customer‑specific projects, strategic partnerships, and non‑interventional studies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date market and customer knowledge in a dynamic environment.
• Manage a high volume of field‑based projects, prioritizing effectively and demonstrating sound judgment.
• Communicate across multiple channels, including live and virtual presentations, written materials, and virtual conversations.
• Optimize patient‑centricity of medical communications and support Investigator Sponsored Research processes.
• Develop therapeutic area expertise and stay current with congress data and disease‑state literature.
• Foster cross‑functional relationships with Pfizer colleagues at local, regional, and global levels.

Required profile

• University degree in Medicine or Pharmacy.
• 1‑3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (medical or commercial).
• Preferably experience in the vaccine therapeutic area.
• Awareness of pharmaceutical industry codes, policies, and local regulations.
• Strong analytical, self‑awareness, and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex scientific information clearly.
• Ability to work within a matrixed, multidisciplinary team.
• Well‑organized, flexible, and able to prioritize multiple demands.
• Comfortable adopting new digital technologies for medical interactions.
• Patient‑centric and customer‑focused mindset.
