Mobile Automation Engineer – Test iOS & Android Apps

About the role

CXT Software is looking for a Mobile Automation Engineer to own and evolve the test suites for its driver application. You will work on native iOS and Android apps, using Playwright, BrowserStack and GitHub Actions, as the product undergoes a full redesign.

Key responsibilities

• Write, maintain and refactor Playwright test suites for iOS and Android driver apps.
• Execute structured test plans, including manual regression testing, before and during automation build‑out.
• Diagnose flaky tests, separating test‑execution issues from genuine engineering defects.
• Run and maintain parallelized test suites on BrowserStack and GitHub Actions to keep execution times efficient.
• Report results in TestRail and track defects using issue‑tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and leadership to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Explore AI‑powered testing tools to improve automation efficiency.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in QA or test automation (degree not required).
• Hands‑on experience testing native mobile applications on iOS and Android.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot flaky tests and distinguish engineering issues.
