MRP Controller – Procurement & Supplier Management

About the role

The MRP Controller will be responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials to meet production needs, ensuring material availability while maintaining strong supplier relationships. This position works closely with planning, quality, logistics, and operations teams to support seamless manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials in line with production schedules.
• Manage supplier relationships and maintain effective communication.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery.
• Ensure timely material availability to support production.
• Resolve supply‑chain and delivery issues to minimise disruptions.
• Support cost‑reduction and procurement optimisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Logistics, and Operations teams.
• Participate in supplier evaluations and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
• Prepare purchasing reports and maintain accurate procurement records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply‑chain, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation, communication and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional, international environment.
• Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems – SAP is mandatory.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
