About the role

The CAD Designer will create and develop 3D components for automotive projects, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with project requirements. You will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and supplier teams to deliver high‑quality, functional designs on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D models of components and assemblies using Catia V5 and develop technical drawings for manufacturing.
• Perform interference analysis, adjust designs, and validate technical feasibility, functionality, and aesthetics.
• Manage design changes based on client or project needs while meeting defined deadlines.
• Coordinate with inter‑departmental teams and suppliers to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Technical or Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent with a focus on mechanical design.
• 2–3 years of CAD design experience in automotive or related industrial sectors.
• High level of English; German is a plus.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Catia V5.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially injection molding.
• Experience with interference analysis and complex assemblies.
