Mule Wiring Engineer

About the role

ALTEN Maroc is looking for a Mule Wiring Engineer to manage prototype wiring activities for automotive projects. You will work closely with design and build teams to create, release, and support prototype harnesses from concept to vehicle build.

Key responsibilities

• Manage execution of prototype mule wiring activities, from system architecture understanding to harness construction.
• Design and release prototype wiring harnesses and generate detailed Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Identify and procure long‑lead components, in‑lines and eyelets.
• Collaborate with Prototype Build Engineering and component suppliers for sample requests.
• Assess harness design and packaging feasibility and provide technical support to advanced engineering.
• Coordinate Teamcenter tasks, attend design reviews, and support change requests.
• Perform onsite troubleshooting at the Chrysler Technical Center and deliver Make‑On‑Vehicle (MOV) instructions.
• Generate weekly progress reports and support lessons‑learned activities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive harness design.
• Strong analytical skills, rigor, and ability to work autonomously.
• Effective communication with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Fluent English.
