Multiskilled Maintenance Technician

About the role

APM Terminals is seeking a versatile Technician to support the maintenance of terminal equipment at the Tangier Med 2 port complex. The role focuses on ensuring high reliability and availability of container handling assets while adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on terminal equipment (CHE) in a cost‑effective manner.
• Report emergency work to the Shift Engineer and follow up on corrective actions.
• Carry out inspections, monitoring and routine reporting of equipment condition.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and organization.
• Assume the Shift Engineer’s duties during their absence, including interim shift management.
• Ensure all activities comply with company safety rules and HSSE initiatives.

Required profile

• Bac+2 (or equivalent) in Maintenance or related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience, preferably in a port or industrial environment.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work safely, report unsafe acts and contribute to zero‑accident goals.

Required skills

• Technical maintenance of heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficiency in completing accurate inspection and monitoring reports.
