.NET Core Developer (CDI)

About the role

This Senior Developer position focuses on designing, developing and maintaining large-scale technology solutions centred on Microsoft .NET Core, data analytics and digital solutions. The role leads the work of planning, designing, developing and launching efficient systems that support core organisational functions, acting as a bridge between business needs and technology delivery. It is a hands-on, senior role with decision-making authority.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, support and troubleshoot software systems, optimising performance and following up on issues
• Ensure systems are properly integrated and meet customers' business goals
• Work with business, support and development teams to recommend system enhancements
• Provide technical leadership in project planning and review, and keep enterprise standards consistent across the application lifecycle
• Keep up with industry trends and give feedback to technology owners and architects on future solution needs
• Define domain architecture strategy with business and IT stakeholders
• Mentor the technical team, perform peer code reviews and deliver quality components on time

Required profile

• 8+ years of software development experience in API programming
• 5+ years of .NET Core experience and 5+ years of AWS cloud technology
• Solid understanding of security issues in multi-tier enterprise applications
• Effective verbal and written communication; preferred: airline domain knowledge and AWS certification

Required skills

• C#.NET Core, Entity Framework or LINQ to SQL, AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, EC2, etc.)
• SOAP, REST and Web API; integration with .NET Core middleware
• Monitoring and logging: Kibana, Elasticsearch, Datadog
• Tools: Fiddler, Postman, Swagger, Git, XUnit/NUnit/MSTest
• Event-based architecture, SOLID principles, design patterns, relational database design
