Network Engineer – LAN/WAN/SD‑WAN Specialist

About the role

Scalian is looking for a Network Engineer to join its Group IT Infrastructure team. The role focuses on operating, maintaining and evolving the company’s LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN and Wi‑Fi environments across France and international sites, ensuring high performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure day‑to‑day operation (MCO) of network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, Wi‑Fi, ToIP).
• Manage the full lifecycle of network equipment – switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Configure, integrate and document network devices and keep the asset inventory up to date.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions, handle advanced incidents and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Design and deliver network architecture evolution projects, support business teams in deployments and integrate new sites into the corporate network.
• Maintain network security posture – firewalls, VPNs, segmentation – and apply Group security policies, monitor CVEs and apply patches.
• Manage public DNS, certificates and VPN solutions (IPSec, SSL).

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Professional level English communication skills.
• Experience with Windows Server (NPS) and a solid understanding of networking concepts.
