O&M Director – Tarfaya Wind Farm

About the role

ENGIE Morocco is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Director for the Tarfaya Wind Farm. The role is responsible for leading the O&M activities, ensuring high performance, safety, reliability and profitability of the asset.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end O&M activities, manage warranties, spare parts and service agreements, and ensure energy production meets contractual commitments.
• Champion health, safety and environment standards, conduct audits, risk assessments and manage emergency response.
• Own site P&L, monitor KPIs such as availability, load factor, MTBF/MTTR and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of asset performance using data analytics, digital tools and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Maintain relationships with government, regulators, local communities, partners and offtakers, and represent the company externally.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, ensure workforce capability and support succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with Moroccan regulations, environmental standards and corporate governance, overseeing audits and reporting.
• Manage interfaces between operations, maintenance and external contractors to ensure smooth transition from project to operation.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in power generation, renewable energy or industrial operations, with a proven track record managing large‑scale assets.
• Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and handling crisis situations.
• Fluency in English and French; Arabic is a strong asset.
