OT Cyber Security Field Engineer

About the role

CYRAF, a leading industrial cybersecurity company, is looking for an OT Cyber Security Field Engineer to protect critical infrastructure such as energy, water, transportation and communication networks. The role combines field work with technical expertise to design, implement and maintain security controls for OT and IT environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on network and IT/OT infrastructure.
• Develop and update maintenance and testing procedures for critical servers.
• Provide guidance to network architects and assist in designing security controls and upgrades.
• Support service managers and technicians on cybersecurity and integration queries.
• Operate and tune cybersecurity tools, monitor alerts, and analyse incidents.
• Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption solutions and other security technologies.
• Conduct patching and configuration tasks to ensure system integrity.
• Stay current with emerging cyber‑attack tactics and techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
