OT Process Controller

About the role

As an OT Process Controller at APM Terminals’ TM2 terminal, you will be the first line of support for the semi‑automated container handling systems operating from the Integrated Operations Center. Working in a shift‑based rotation, you will ensure system availability, respond to incidents and contribute to operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide real‑time system support during shift hours from the IOC.
• Monitor alarms, interfaces and process flows for quay cranes, automated rail‑mounted gantry cranes and shuttle carriers.
• Perform Level 1 troubleshooting, escalating to Level 2/3 when required.
• Detect and resolve control‑system anomalies and software faults.
• Coordinate with Operations, Asset Management and IT teams.
• Document incidents, interventions and shift handovers thoroughly.
• Ensure SLA compliance and maintain clear communication within the Control Room.
• Support Lean initiatives through accurate reporting and process documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a continuous‑improvement (Lean) orientation.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting experience in an operational environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
