Paid Ads Video Editor (Remote, Full-Time)

About the role

We are a fast‑scaling DTC e‑commerce business looking for a Remote Paid Ads Video Editor to turn pre‑defined concepts, hooks, and angles into high‑performing short‑form ads. You will work with user‑generated content (UGC) and product footage to create Meta‑ready videos that drive clicks, lower CPA and scale revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Receive strategist‑provided concepts, hooks and angles and combine them with UGC and raw footage.
• Edit 20‑45 second UGC ads for Meta, ensuring a strong hook in the first 1‑3 seconds and a clear problem‑solution‑CTA structure.
• Create multiple variations per concept, adjusting hooks, pacing and structure.
• Apply best‑practice guidelines for hook strength, retention, and conversion.
• Maintain a fast turnaround of 24‑48 hours per batch and produce 15‑25 ads weekly.
• Iterate quickly based on performance feedback and minimize revisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience editing UGC‑style paid ads for DTC e‑commerce brands.
• Portfolio that showcases real ad creatives, not just aesthetic edits.
• Experience targeting US or European markets.
• Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, retention and conversion dynamics.
