Plant Finance Manager

About the role

The Plant Finance Manager will lead the Moroccan Electronics Business unit to achieve its financial targets. Reporting to the Operations Controller EU&Africa and supervising a team of five, the role combines strategic budgeting, cost control and financial reporting for a high‑tech automotive plant.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and apply Lear Corporation’s accounting and internal control manual.
• Prepare annual budgets, monitor performance and enforce budgetary control.
• Oversee monthly closing of financial statements and consolidate results.
• Track investments, depreciation and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Analyze and monitor production cost components, stock levels and transport frequency on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Prepare forecasts, reconcile variances and analyse discrepancies between forecasted and actual results.
• Implement cost accounting and management control systems.
• Manage cash, financing and cost policies.
• Set up administrative and financial reporting structures.
• Consolidate analytical and general operating accounts.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance.
• Strong numerical aptitude.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar finance/controller role, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Proven ability to lead a small finance team and work closely with operational leaders.
