Plant Logistics Manager

About the role

Join a leading international automotive group as the Plant Logistics Manager at our manufacturing plant in Bouknadel, Morocco. You will oversee all logistics flows, ensuring material availability for production, efficient warehouse operations, and on‑time delivery to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor inbound logistics, internal material handling, and finished‑product shipments.
• Guarantee material availability for production and maintain reliable warehouse inventory.
• Manage goods receipt, storage, material handling, shipping and transportation activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality and Group Supply Chain to ensure operational continuity.
• Monitor and optimise stock levels, reduce working capital and improve inventory accuracy.
• Maintain relationships with carriers, logistics providers and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and import/export procedures.
• Track logistics KPIs, drive corrective actions and lead continuous‑improvement projects following Lean principles.
• Lead, develop and support the logistics team.

Required profile

• Degree in Management Engineering, Economics or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics, supply‑chain or material‑management experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, organisational and planning abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English; French and Arabic are a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for short business trips.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (preferred).
