PMO Manager / Senior PMO Manager

About the role

The Project Management Office (PMO) Manager will lead the PMO function for large‑scale solar PV and energy storage projects in Morocco, reporting to the Global Project Director and Country General Manager. This senior position ensures disciplined project execution, governance and coordination across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and maintain project management processes, standards, tools and reporting systems.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, milestones, risk registers and performance tracking mechanisms.
• Monitor overall project progress, prepare dashboards and executive updates, and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate EPC contractors, engineering consultants, suppliers and construction teams throughout design, procurement, construction, commissioning and hand‑over.
• Support contract, change and claims management, ensuring alignment of technical, commercial, legal and financial requirements.
• Act as central liaison between engineering, procurement, finance, legal, business development and headquarters.
• Identify and mitigate project risks related to schedule, cost, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Engage with local authorities, utilities and external partners to secure permits, grid connections and land approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 8+ years of project management experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, power or EPC sectors.
• Proven track record on utility‑scale solar PV projects and experience working with EPC contractors.
• Experience managing projects from development through construction and commissioning, preferably on international assignments.
