Postdoctoral Fellowship – Biopesticide Formulation Research

About the role

The AgroBioSciences Program at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University seeks a highly motivated post‑doctoral researcher to lead a project on biopesticide formulation for sustainable pest control of major crops. The fellow will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop, characterize, and test innovative biopesticide products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop versatile biopesticide formulations using natural products, entomopathogenic microorganisms, essential oils, and plant extracts.
• Characterize physicochemical properties, stability, and compatibility of active ingredients.
• Plan and execute laboratory, greenhouse, and field experiments to assess efficacy.
• Maintain insect colonies and host plants for experimental work.
• Supervise graduate and postgraduate research projects.
• Prepare project reports, patents, presentations, and peer‑reviewed publications.

Required profile

• PhD in crop protection or a closely related field obtained within the last five years.
• Demonstrated experience in formulation technology and chemical characterization.
• Strong publication record in relevant scientific areas.
