Pre‑Sales Engineer – Africa Region – Building Automation

About the role

The Pre‑Sales Engineer will act as the technical authority for LenelS2 and Honeywell security portfolios across the Africa region. You will design end‑to‑end security architectures, support sales opportunities, and lead technical training and enablement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document security solutions covering Access Control, Video Management, Intrusion Detection and Integrated Security Platforms.
• Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities, develop bid strategies, respond to RFPs/RFQs and deliver proofs‑of‑concept.
• Conduct technical presentations, demos, webinars and live events for customers, consultants and partners.
• Mentor application engineers, provide escalation support and share best practices.
• Support service sales with proposals, quotations and tender documentation, maintaining records in the NEX system.
• Plan and coordinate internal and external training programs, track certification compliance and manage training logistics for the META region.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in LenelS2 and Honeywell security solutions.
• Proven experience in pre‑sales, solution design and customer engagement.
• Ability to mentor peers and act as a technical escalation point.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of cybersecurity requirements and industry trends.
