Presales Engineer

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise, operating through Selectium in Morocco, is looking for a Presales Engineer to provide deep technical expertise and support the sales process. The role focuses on designing and delivering technology solutions that meet customers' business needs while maintaining strong relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand technical requirements, assess current IT infrastructure, and architect comprehensive solutions.
• Collaborate with account teams and internal groups to develop value propositions, negotiate points, and present compelling solution overviews.
• Maintain and update pipeline information, ensuring opportunities progress toward closure.
• Facilitate smooth hand‑over from sales to implementation, identifying training needs for delivery teams.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in technology consulting and solution selling, preferably within the HPE data portfolio.
• Strong consultative selling skills, including active listening, storytelling, and white‑boarding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; knowledge of Bulgarian is a plus.
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a willingness to stay current on fast‑evolving IT trends.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of storage and SAN products, HPE Backup and Disaster Recovery software, and the Ezmeral platform.
• Experience with compute technologies, data storage systems, host virtualization, containers, and Linux.
• Familiarity with partner offerings and ability to collaborate effectively.
