Process Engineer – Injection Molding (Tangier)

About the role

The Process Engineer will develop, optimize and maintain injection molding processes at our Tangier plant, ensuring high‑quality production, efficiency and compliance with safety standards. You will work closely with production, quality and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine molding parameters to improve cycle time, reduce scrap and guarantee consistent product quality.
• Support new mold introduction, validate tooling and troubleshoot mold‑related issues.
• Create and maintain specifications for injection molding machines and related automation equipment.
• Assist operators with machine setup, adjustments and problem‑solving during production runs.
• Apply scientific molding principles to meet customer specifications and reduce defects.
• Lead lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and process‑standardisation initiatives.
• Prepare and keep up‑to‑date process sheets, work instructions and technical reports.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality and supply‑chain teams for new product launches and ongoing production.
• Apply overmolding expertise to ensure proper adhesion, material compatibility and product performance.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial or Plastics Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in injection molding (automotive, electronics or packaging preferred).
• Strong knowledge of scientific molding principles and polymer processing.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and SPC tools.
• Effective communication skills and good level of English.
