Process Engineer – Manufacturing Equipment Lead

About the role

As a Process Engineer at Aptiv, you will define and secure the plant’s equipment needs for new projects, ensuring timely acquisition, installation and validation. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to guarantee that all equipment meets quality, cost and volume targets.

Key responsibilities

• Define the need and budget for Assembly Tables, Assembly Lines and WPO for new projects.
• Lead installation, validation and continuous improvement of equipment components (quality, volume, cost).
• Ensure equipment availability at SOP by anticipating supplier and internal actions.
• Close all reliability reporting points under your responsibility.
• Follow up with suppliers to verify that received equipment meets specifications.
• Prepare documentation for newly integrated machines.
• Contribute to supplier selection for equipment purchases.

Required profile

• Bac+5 / Engineering degree in a technical field (or equivalent).
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Problem‑solving techniques.
