Process Engineer (Thermal Activity)

About the role

Valeo is seeking a Process Engineer focused on thermal activity to lead the industrialisation of new P1 projects. You will work on improving production efficiency, supporting equipment introduction, and ensuring smooth hand‑over to the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the industrialisation of new P1 projects and improve machine and labour efficiency.
• Design and validate new equipment, tools and production lines, including IPROM and SPV activities.
• Conduct pre‑acceptance, acceptance and line trials, and prepare related reports and action plans.
• Collect and analyse equipment and process capability data, set up equipment, and define validation plans.
• Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan creation and QCDM monitoring, proposing continuous improvements.
• Support production technicians through training, problem‑solving and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with suppliers for equipment support, improvements and compliance.
• Maintain 5S standards, safety and environmental rules, and report any violations.

Required profile

• Mechanical engineering background.
• At least 1 year of experience, preferably in mechanical assembly.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Proactive attitude, curiosity and strong teamwork orientation.
