Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Procurement Officer to manage end‑to‑end sourcing and contracting activities while ensuring compliance with global procurement standards. The role will drive sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, lead contract negotiations and support transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end sourcing activities for local categories in line with the global procurement strategy.
• Prepare and execute RFQs/RFPs, evaluate proposals and support negotiations to achieve best value.
• Create, manage and maintain contracts in SAP Ariba Source‑to‑Contract (S2C) ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor supplier onboarding, registration and qualification processes within Ariba.
• Act as primary contact for business stakeholders on sourcing and contracting matters.
• Lead contract negotiations and resolve contract‑related issues.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and analyse spend data to support decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with Allianz Global Procurement Standards and support audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or contract management, preferably in an international or shared‑services environment.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix organization.
