Product Engineer – Automotive Programs (Tangier)

About the role

Lear is seeking a Product Engineer for its TRIM plant in Tangier. The role focuses on managing Audi program product‑engineering activities, including bill‑of‑materials (BOM) management, feasibility studies, and implementation of engineering changes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform drawing analysis and create technical specification documents.
• Assess product feasibility throughout program phases.
• Resolve design‑related issues using PDFA methodology.
• Create and audit BOMs in the QAD ERP system.
• Control and manage engineering changes following the APQP approach.
• Support the plant in improving quality and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Engineering school degree (high‑school level engineering qualification).
• Project management and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced automotive environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of QAD ERP.
• Familiarity with the APQP process.
