Production Coordinator – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Coordinator will oversee induction, training, daily operations and continuous‑improvement activities on the shop floor of an automotive manufacturing line.

Key responsibilities

• Manage induction, training and flexibility grids for newcomers and team members.
• Analyse skill needs, define training plans and conduct on‑the‑job training.
• Monitor daily absenteeism, safety compliance and environmental risk analysis.
• Validate operator working times, enforce standard stops and ensure work instructions are up‑to‑date.
• Drive SQCDM performance, review QRAP, resolve issues and lead action plans.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to meet MPS targets and monitor equipment performance.
• Lead TPM activities, 5S, Hoshin and Kaizen workshops, and prepare Kaizen cards.
• Conduct performance appraisals, salary reviews and manage the APZ budget.

Required profile

• Mechanical or industrial engineering degree.
• More than three years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong communication and team‑management abilities.
• Motivation to learn, take initiative and drive continuous improvement.

Required skills

• TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) standards.
• 5S, Hoshin Kanri, Kaizen methodology.
• Problem‑solving tools such as PDCA, FTA and 5 Whys.
• SQCDM (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale) monitoring.
• Production planning (MPS) coordination.
