Production Coordinator

About the role

The Production Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily multidisciplinary meetings and ensuring the production area meets its key performance indicators, including zero accidents, zero defects, and 100% on‑time delivery. The role involves coordinating resources, supporting supervisors, and driving continuous improvement across the department.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily multidisciplinary production meetings.
• Monitor production indicators against objectives (0 accidents, 0 defects, 100% delivery).
• Participate in engineering change, new project, and capacity study meetings.
• Allocate and optimise human and technical resources to meet client needs.
• Prepare necessary documentation for production operations.
• Execute production tasks according to the production plan.
• Support supervisors and encourage decision‑making.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary team reflections, propose improvements, and develop action plans.
• Ensure internal and external quality standards are met.
• Develop hiring plans for new projects or team introductions.
• Communicate monthly targets to subordinates.
• Participate in MPS meetings to validate customer and production volumes and adjust headcount.
• Implement quality and standards in the APU area.
• Ensure proper use of production facilities and equipment.
• Control scrap levels within the area.
• Conduct regular Gemba walks.
