Production Deputy Manager (H/F)

About the role

The Production Deputy Manager supports the Production Manager in overseeing daily manufacturing activities, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Production Manager in planning, organizing and supervising daily production operations.
• Ensure production schedules, quality requirements and output targets are achieved.
• Supervise and coordinate production teams, allocating manpower and resources effectively.
• Monitor performance indicators, productivity, efficiency and operational KPIs.
• Identify bottlenecks, deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and company procedures.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Engineering, Logistics and other departments for smooth operations.
• Participate in workforce and production planning based on business needs.
• Prepare regular performance reports and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Train, coach and develop supervisors and team leaders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Production Management or a related field.
• 5‑10 years of experience in a production management role within a large industrial environment.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise production teams and achieve performance targets.
