Production Quality Leader

About the role

Production Quality Leader responsible for operational quality performance in an automotive manufacturing environment. The role requires hands‑on leadership to stabilise quality operations, lead shop‑floor teams, manage escalations and drive sustainable corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate operational quality activities within the production environment.
• Own customer complaints, quality escalations and urgent production issues, implementing immediate containment and corrective actions.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and ensure sustainable corrective measures are established.
• Manage internal defects, improve process quality performance and prioritize quality issues.
• Coordinate action plans with cross‑functional teams and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Lead and support local quality teams on the shop‑floor and report quality status, risks and escalations to management.
• Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and customer requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or Industrial Engineering.
• Proven experience in automotive quality leadership within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong operational expertise and ability to take immediate ownership of quality performance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously.

Required skills

• Automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).
• Root‑cause analysis.
• Corrective action implementation.
• Quality management in production environments.
