Production Specialist – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Production Specialist to join our manufacturing facility in Morocco. The role is part of Norm Fasteners, a leading fastener producer, and focuses on executing production plans, ensuring quality, and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Implement production plans received from the Planning Department and guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Monitor and reduce downtime, ensuring productivity targets are met.
• Carry out process improvement activities, including SMED, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives.
• Provide training to operators and support autonomous maintenance.
• Track machine KPIs, record SPC data, and manage poke‑yoke applications to prevent defects.
• Analyze defects, prepare one‑point lessons, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Design, procure, and commission new production equipment.
• Participate in the suggestion system and follow up on accepted ideas.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment and maintain safe work conditions.

Required profile

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical & Materials Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Hands‑on experience with lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S practices.
• Knowledge of autonomous maintenance and SPC data handling.
• Advanced proficiency in English, Arabic and French.
