Production Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead daily molding operations, ensure safety and quality, and drive productivity across our manufacturing floor. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to meet customer delivery targets while fostering a continuous‑improvement culture.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily molding production to achieve safety, quality, delivery and productivity goals.
• Plan and allocate manpower according to production schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor performance through KPIs, identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and address non‑conformities.
• Optimize machine utilization and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by reducing downtime.
• Coordinate mold changeovers and work with Process Engineering to shorten setup time.
• Collaborate with Maintenance for equipment reliability and rapid breakdown resolution.
• Apply Lean, Kaizen and 5S+1 methodologies to eliminate waste and sustain improvements.
• Train, develop and evaluate production personnel.
• Prepare production reports, analyse trends and communicate action plans to management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production, process, methods or industrial engineering leadership.
• Proven experience with molding processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of molding technologies, equipment and process optimisation.
• Demonstrated expertise in problem‑solving, PFMEA and continuous‑improvement tools.
• Solid leadership, people‑management and team‑development skills.
