Project Controller

About the role

Alstom is looking for a Project Controller to ensure the financial health and transparency of its rail and mobility projects. You will work closely with planning, sourcing, and industrial teams, aligning financial and operational goals while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain, check, and validate all financial and accounting data for projects on a monthly basis.
• Analyze and control the gap between actuals and budget.
• Prepare estimates at completion for validation during project reviews.
• Ensure reconciliation between approved project financial data and the accounting books.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align financial and operational objectives.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives in financial operations.
• Implement financial controls and processes to minimise risks.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a business school, engineering school or equivalent.
• 5‑10 years of experience in finance and controlling.
• Strong teamwork, collaboration and analytical mindset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience with SAP (plus).
• Experience with Power BI (plus).
