Project Controller

About the role

The Project Controller will ensure accurate time‑tracking, budgeting, and financial reporting for development projects within our telecom operations. You will work closely with the on‑shore finance lead and various stakeholders to keep project finances transparent and on target.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate the Application Program to ensure developers’ work hours are charged to the correct project codes each month.
• Manage employee timesheets, extract contractor codes, and record leaves using PowerApps and Excel.
• Report to the on‑shore program finance lead on hours and time allocation for all related projects.
• Oversee project budgets, perform year‑end forecasting, and log expenses in financial tracking systems, verifying actuals against forecasts.
• Extract Agile delivery data from JIRA per sprint/PI to track budgets and calculate cost per story point.
• Execute SAP operations to set up and manage billing codes for employee time tracking.
• Administer the internal leave management system, coordinating holiday schedules and location data.
• Identify financial discrepancies, assess impacts, and liaise with project stakeholders.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives and execute control processes defined by the Program Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in project control or project finance.
• Junior level (1‑3 years of experience) – fresh graduates are welcome.
• CAPM or PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, detail‑oriented, and excellent written and spoken communication skills.
