Project Coordinator – Fez, Morocco

About the role

The Project Coordinator will support the Governance, Rule of Law and Peacebuilding (GRP) Hub’s Local Action unit in Fez, Morocco. The role contributes to delivering integrated solutions that strengthen democratic governance, human rights and peacebuilding while advancing the Sustainable Development Goals at the local level.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities across the GRP Hub and local partners, ensuring alignment with UNDP strategic objectives.
• Facilitate collaboration with local and regional governments, civil society, IFIs and the private sector.
• Monitor project progress, prepare reports and support evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Assist in the development of partnership agreements and resource mobilization strategies.
• Support the integration of governance and peacebuilding components into crisis response and recovery programmes.

Required profile

• University degree in public administration, international relations, development studies or a related field.
• Relevant experience in project coordination, preferably within governance, rule of law or peacebuilding contexts.
• Familiarity with the Sustainable Development Goals and local government structures.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
