Project Director – Residential Masterplan

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a large‑scale residential masterplan in Morocco, from initial mobilisation through to handover. The role reports to senior development leadership and works closely with commercial, contracts and project controls teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the project in line with development strategies and execution plans.
• Secure all required permits at each project stage.
• Participate in design reviews, focusing on buildability and cost optimisation.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Contracts and Project Controls on tenders, contractor selection and contract variations.
• Lead mobilisation and construction start, maintaining programme timelines.
• Oversee consultants or directly manage contractors to achieve project goals.
• Control design changes with the Development lead and manage contractor variations to avoid schedule impact.
• Supervise testing, commissioning and ensure all handover certifications and utility approvals are in place.
• Support cost reporting, final account reconciliation and maintain compliance with legal, regulatory and QHSE standards.

Required profile

• 20+ years of experience in construction project delivery.
• Proven track record leading projects valued at AED 500 million or more.
• Stable work history with tier‑1 main contractors or developers.
• Experience delivering projects from start to finish, preferably internationally.
• Relevant industry degree.
• Fluent French speaker (mandatory).
