Project Finance Specialist

About the role

The Project Finance Specialist will support transaction delivery and project management for complex infrastructure and financing projects. Working under the guidance of a team lead, the role involves close interaction with clients, lenders, off‑takers and other stakeholders to ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely work on transaction delivery, project management and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with transaction teams and client representatives to support on‑ground project development.
• Analyse commercial and contractual implications of project financing agreements.
• Build and maintain complex financial models, perform scenario and sensitivity analysis, and ensure compliance with accounting and tax principles.
• Prepare reports, information memoranda, summaries and presentations for internal and client use.
• Engage with clients to understand requirements, respond to changing priorities and help design optimal solutions.
• Conduct sector, geography and competitor research to generate business development opportunities and support proposal preparation.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Finance from a premier business school.
• 7‑10+ years of experience in project finance or financial advisory.
• Experience with international banks, investors, corporate or advisory firms is preferred.
• Background in infrastructure or project finance is an advantage.
• CFA Level 3 qualification is a plus.
