Project Lead - Software & Electric/Electronics

About the role

Stellantis, a global mobility group, has set up a Software entity (SWX) to drive a transformation in software for the customer experience, covering autonomous driving, smart cockpit and connected services. It is looking for a Project Lead to work on one of four innovation areas: electrical architecture (STLA Brain), autonomous driving (STLA AutoDrive), connectivity and infotainment (STLA SmartCockpit), or connected services and digital solutions. The position is permanent (CDI) and based in Casablanca.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver features, components and/or subsystems within quality, cost, timing and performance targets, in line with purchasing and industrial orientations.
• Coordinate skills and resources to deliver the solution according to vehicle program timelines and the overall project schedule.
• Lead scope definition, staffing and scheduling, and focus on regular, timely delivery of value.
• Create and lead communication across development teams and stakeholders, organise status and working meetings, and prepare progress reports.
• Manage risks and issues and report to the Chief Engineer of the programme, with close links to strategy, product, engineering, production plants and purchasing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 5 to 8 years of professional experience in software and customer-oriented products (e.g. consumer electronics), with exposure to product development, engineering teams and operations.
• Fluent English; a second language is a plus.
• Proven project management experience on future mobility solutions, with a track record of success.
• Technical background strong enough to lead development teams and assess complex project risks.
• Experience in the automotive sector is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Understanding of software development lifecycle models, and knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management methods.
• Strong communication, organisational, analytical and team-building skills.
