Project Leader – Trim

About the role

Lear Corporation is seeking a Project Leader for its Trim operations in Tangier Free Trade Zone. The role will drive the planning, execution, and launch of new automotive trim projects, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Program Team to establish manufacturing planning, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate launch activities, ensuring they stay within budgetary targets.
• Organize and lead internal and external project meetings.
• Liaise with plant management to support manufacturing, quality, technical, logistics, and maintenance functions.
• Manage project risk, develop action plans, and implement corrective measures.
• Report weekly progress against launch standards.
• Support materials management for pre‑builds and launch phases.
• Maintain effective customer relationships to foster partnership and business growth.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in seating or trim components.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Trim/Cut & Sew components such as fabrics, foam, plastics, and leather.
