Project Leader – Trim Manufacturing

About the role

Lear Corporation is seeking a Project Leader for its Trim operations in Tangier. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure successful launch of new automotive trim projects, managing resources, budgets, and timelines while maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the Program Team to establish manufacturing planning and milestones.
• Define resource requirements in coordination with cross‑functional teams and ensure launch activities stay within budget.
• Organize, moderate, and conduct internal and external project meetings.
• Coordinate with plant management to support manufacturing, quality, logistics, and maintenance functions for launch activities.
• Manage project risk factors, develop action plans, and implement timely countermeasures.
• Report weekly progress through standard launch reports and support materials management for pre‑builds and launch phases.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably with seating or trim components.
• Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for presentations and reporting.
• Knowledge of Trim/Cut & Sew components such as fabrics, foam, plastics, and leather.
