Project Logistics Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Project Logistics Engineer to lead the planning and execution of production logistics within our plant. The role combines coordination of cross‑functional teams, continuous improvement of logistics processes and ensuring on‑time delivery to meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and monitor the execution of production plans for the plant.
• Coordinate segment team members and allocate staff according to workload.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and apply 5S and environmental standards on production lines.
• Understand customer requirements, ensure satisfaction and guarantee on‑time shipments.
• Maintain zero parts per million (PPM) and zero complaints.
• Manage production KPIs such as cost, lead time and quality.
• Motivate, guide and develop the team in line with Hirschmann’s leadership strategy.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Experience in the automotive industry is desirable.
• Excellent communication, relationship building and intercultural competence.
• Solution‑oriented, analytical and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP logistics transactions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Office).
