Project Management Officer

About the role

As a Project Management Officer (PMO) at Capgemini Engineering, you will act as a strategic business partner to Engagement Managers and project teams. You will bring structure, methodology, and governance to ensure cost control, revenue protection, and the achievement of contractual objectives across a multicultural, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain project management processes, standards, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with methodologies and governance rules.
• Monitor project financial performance, including costs, revenues, margins, and forecasts.
• Analyze variances between budget, actuals, and forecasts, and raise financial risk alerts.
• Support project planning, workload, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
• Produce concise, decision‑oriented reporting on cost, schedule, quality, and risk deviations.
• Facilitate collaboration between operational teams, management, and clients.
• Prepare and lead project review and governance meetings.
• Perform financial and operational analyses to support decision‑making and identify performance improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in financial performance monitoring and project analysis.
• Proficiency in budget tracking, financial forecasting, and cost control.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills in a multicultural setting.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
