Project Safety Manager

About the role

The Project Safety Manager will oversee safety status across all engineering disciplines for complete vehicle projects, ensuring safety objectives are achieved throughout the lifecycle and coordinating stakeholders to maintain compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain the Project Safety Plan and define the scope of safety activities based on project impact analysis.
• Ensure consistency and completeness of safety analyses across all engineering layers.
• Coordinate safety activity planning, deliverables, and confirmation measures with all stakeholders.
• Track and monitor safety activities throughout the project/program lifecycle and present Safety Assessments at key milestones.
• Secure safety release approval for each project phase.
• Oversee development and optimisation of the Verification & Validation (V&V) strategy.
• Supervise the safety case development across engineering disciplines.
• Lead non‑functional safety activities such as Stress & Threats analysis, Severe Thermal Events management, and related topics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac +5) from an engineering school.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in safety engineering or related fields.
• Detail‑oriented, creative and curious mindset.
• Team player who enjoys developing skills in a dynamic environment.
